WoodSton was registered on October 1, 2019 and this year we are celebrating its 4th birthday! These past years have been a time of exploring new markets – since the beginning of our business we have focused on exporting windows and doors to Western European countries. This year, our products have found their customers in new, more remote countries.
We have already proven many times that products signed ‘Made in Poland’ are a top-shelf assortment in terms of quality. One such example is the windows and doors industry, in which we operate, and which has been continuously recording steady growth in sales, turnover, and popularity for many years.
Industrial architecture is an interesting and growing trend that continues to gain new followers. It is a form of recycling of real estate left after factories, industrial buildings, halls and structures that stand abandoned and it would be uneconomical to renovate them and adapt them to a modern style. This is where the industrial style originated. Firstly, cafes, restaurants and stylised services started to be organised in such places, and later the fashion was adapted for housing.
Buying or replacing windows is an investment that should be well thought out. Windows are not only aesthetically pleasing; they also determine whether the building will be well insulated against temperature and weather conditions. The technologies used will affect, among others, how much noise will penetrate from the street into the room, the cost of operating the windows and their lifespan.
Two panes of glass are better than three? In theory yes, in practice the issue is much more complicated. Although a triple-glazed (double-chambered) window package will indeed be better in justified cases, only some people will benefit from the advantages of such a window. A lot depends on the heat transfer coefficient of the whole house and the energy-saving solutions applied.
